About Me

Born in Yorkshire, England, I obtained a BA in Modern History and Economics (First Class Hons) from Manchester University.  Subsequently, I lectured in Modern History at Manchester University before setting up my own business.  I’m now retired.

My political development has evolved from radical left in my youth, via a ‘peace now’ type approach in the 1990s, to a far more conservative approach to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict now.  In 2008, I made Aliyah with my wife.  We’re members of a kibbutz in the Jordan Valley.

Since moving to Israel, I’ve written extensively on the conflict.  Currently, I’m extremely concerned that all the previous errors of the EU and the UN will be repeated when the current war is over – hence a slew of new articles.
